The rear camera has a high-resolution up to 13MP sensor with a high-quality f/2.2 wide-aperture lens. The secondary camera is used to create an artistic bokeh effect for portraits and close-ups, putting the subject in sharp focus while progressively blurring the background for the portrait-like images seen on the iPhone X.
