LudacusCompetition in the video streaming category is heating up with the arrival of Disney+ in Singapore! The long-awaited launch was supported by a marketing campaign which started as early as January 2021.
It will cost you S$11.98 a month for a Disney+ subscription or S$9.99/month if you were to choose a yearly subscription. Disney obviously sees Netflix as its biggest competitor by pegging its monthly subscription fees to Netflix’s.
In a single subscription, you can have up to 7 different profiles (hi my 6 other friends!) with up to 4 concurrent streams. Besides streaming in HD or 4K Ultra HD for selected shows, Disney+ also allows you to have unlimited downloads of content across 10 devices.
In terms of content, Disney+ boost a catalogue of over 600 movies from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Nat Geo, Star Wars and Star channel. You can also watch Disney+ directly on Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, Chromecast, PS4/5 and even on Xbox.
