RGUHS informs on submission of Online Dissertation for ensuing MSc Nursing September, October Exam 2021

Karnataka: Through a recent notice, the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has informed about the submission of the Online Dissertation for the ensuing M.Sc Nursing September/October-2021 Examination.

All the concerned students can take note of the following details as released by the RGUHS on its official website:

• The Principal of all colleges are informed to submit 4 CDs (Soft Copy)
• Submission of Hard Copies of Dissertation books are not accepted in the University

RGUHS PhD Eligibility Criteria

For Admission to PhD course at RGUHS, candidates must have a Master's Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-I/Physically Disabled candidates) or an equivalent grade from a recognized university. 

RGUHS PhD Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected based on their merit in the entrance exam conducted by RGUHS followed by the interview. 
• Students with valid scores in UGC/CSIR-NET/JRF/ SLET are exempted from entrance examinations.

Here are the steps to register for KEA Counselling for RGUHS Admission 2024:

• Visit the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority. ( http://kea.kar.nic.in/ ) 
• Click on the link for ‘Online Registration’.
• Fill in the details such as the Name, Contact, Address, Educational Qualification, etc.
• Application ID and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number or email.
• Login to the portal and fill in all other necessary details in the application form. 
• Upload the scanned copies of the Photo, Signature, and Thumb Impression.
• Pay the Counseling fees online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. 
• Take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.

Ques. Do I need an Eligibility Certificate to get admission to Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences?

Ans.  Yes, it is mandatory to get an Eligibility Certificate to get admission into any course offered by any of the affiliated colleges of RGUHS. However, those candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from Karnataka Pre-University Board, Bangalore or RGUHS do not need to get an Eligibility Certificate.

JJM college review

• For 1st year students the faculty is great and approachable to some extent. Campus seems pretty decent. The faculty is great and a handful of them come with their own experience.
• Infrastructure is good. Labs are good. Although there is a New building in construction.
• There isn't a college sports ground of any sort

Jjm for me was chosen among various other colleges mainly because of its review and it's patient load. During the period of applying for a college I preferred Vydehi in Bangalore over jjm but my rank wasn't high enough to get into Vydehi. Although jjm was put below Vydehi on the priority list for me, I am grateful for getting into jjmmc. I also recommend jjm over other colleges in blr like MVJ, east point,etc. Admission in the college is possible if you fall inside the cutoff category/rank after writing the neet ug examination.

• In general i dont like anything but i can say that from this year its little better comapred to last few years because of the inspections going on they are making some changes in cleanliness ,about the staff and all
• They have made canteen area bit cleaner and big from this year
• There are no patients in the haspital and they dont teach us how to deal with patients
• Classes are not good enough .They dont have digital boards in all the classes . And lectures are not good and particular to their subjects.

I didnt choose to do ayurveda i just didnt had the other options. Before choosing college i didnt do more research abhot this college otherwise i have never chosen this college. This is the only college near to my city so i chode this. The students need to score more than 140 to get eligible NEET exam is required to get admission in this course

Karwar institute of medical sciences karwar

• The college is having good infrastructure. It is easily accesible for people as it is located in coastal region of karnataka. Konkan railways are present so as a resident from kerala its really easy to access. Daily trains are available to and fro
• College is located in town itself. Everything is in walking distance. The town is pretty developed. There is good resturents its affordable, for shopping trends and max are there. Dominos is also available. Beach is located 200 m from college
• The patient intake is less as it is a less populated city. Multispeciality hospital is under construction will be ready within 1 year. Then it might increase patient intake . So clinical exposure is bit less
• You will get only 5 -6 annual programms which is less when compared to colleges in kerala.

I had applied to many colleges. I got admitted to AIQ My AIR in neet was 12298 in 2020 neet. My score was 618 out of 720. I kept this college because of its easy to access from kerala You have to write neet to qualify.

I did apply in All India Counselling. But didn't get a seat because of insufficient marks, the ones i get a seat were not feom my selected ones I choose this college among other selected colleges because of its good reputation, relatively less fess, association with government College and also after talking to some seniors. The other colleges that i applied to have higher cutoff, hence i was not able to get a seat in them. Admission process- karnataka is an open state for counselling for all india students.form is filled online and get college according to their ranks.I got this college in mop up round (last round). After getting the college we have to go to KEA karnataka for submitting our tuition fees as DD and documents then after clearing all things we go to our college , there we fill admission form and submit rest documents and pay other fees.Exam accepted for college is NEET only.cutoff is around 600 marks out of 720.overall admission process is good but little bit hectic

The students are alloted to the medical college according to their NEET UG Rank and their Category. Students have to give an entrance exam inorder to get into medical colleges. The exam is NEET UG.

KOIMS, My dream

• I love the atmosphere. It's very peaceful, the trees. The climate is just beautiful. It is also near to my home so that's why I can travel easily. Almost all people there talk my mother tongue, so that gives me a feeling of home. Campus is very good.
• Campus is very vast. There are 3 blocks very near to each other. Campus is very vast for walking with friends in the evening. Coorg being a tourist place, it's very good to hangout with friends, go for trips. College has a gym. Labs teachers are good
• City is very far. So it's very difficult to go if we have to buy some items immediately. Riskshaw cost is 150 , so for travelling once we need to spend 200 rupees. Water problem is also there. Water comes only once or twice a day. We have to storee..

I choosed this college because it is near to my home and I can come to home for every 2 weeks. And here, almost everyone talks my mothr tongue language that is Tulu, so this place gives me a feeling of home. Yes my first priority was shivmogga college, SIMS. But since I didn't have enough marks, I didn't get that college. But this college is also very good, I have enjoyed a lot in my first years. Dissection was the best part of my day. That is the place where u enjoy and study the most

Bams made easy

• Faculty is good supporting. Infrastructure is also good. Hospital is the best part of campus. Also it is place which connects with sri sri aashram which is blessed by our Ravishankar ji . Hence students are safe and can enjoy their study
• Sometimes students from other states may face problem for communicating with local people and patients as well so we need to adjust this thing and food is sometimes Disappointing

I chose this college after studying a lot This college is connected with sri sri aashram that is under sri Ravishankar ji Hence i get to learn about education as well as spirituality People learn new things here

A good college with various activities comparatively!

• The beauty and the peace of the nature in Madikeri around our college
• The curricular and extra curricular activities
• The fungus due to continuous rain in monsoon
• College is a bit far from city to experience the city beauty frequently

I had applied to all government medical colleges and I got KOIMS itself in the first round. Analysing which I might get in 2nd round, i felt this was better and joined. We've to write NEET exam after 12th to become eligible to this course with a very good marks seeing the competition these days

• Surroundings is perfect for studying and and it's greenery makes it a better college
• Staff members are too supportive irrespective of caste and religion they always support us in studying
• Parking area near college is not that much developed
• Hostel pending works takes a time to repair

Our college is very nice compared to other colli cause they have very nice surroundings very good hostel facility staff and specially classes which makes us feel like we are professional Our admission process is also very simple They give us list according to that we have to attach the documents it takes 30-50 min max to be admitted in our college
