Allama Iqbal Open University, the largest university of Asia in distance education, which primarily focuses on the educational needs of masses by providing quality education at their doorsteps all over the country and by blurring spatial and temporal boundaries. - Download and install Microsoft Teams app on your device (PC/Laptop/Mobile).
- Login your Microsoft Teams app using same credential as used for LMS.
- Login your LMS.
- On https://lms1.aiou.edu.pk go to your course as per you workshop schedule and click on the workshop link to join the workshop

AIOU LMS is a great platform for online learning activities. I have been using LMS for many years with a wonderful experience. LMS enables me to share course material with my students and to maintain an online repository of all my courses. I am a frequent user of the Turnitin facility provided by AIOU-LMS. Most of the features of AIOU-LMS are not fully explored due to its variety of substantial sub features which are available for interactive learning environment. AIOU LMS Stands for Allama Iqbal Open University Learning Management System. It is an online CMS that helps students learn and study using their computers or smartphones. Enter Username and Password
Now, you need to enter two things: your username and your password. Your username is usually provided by your school or university. After typing your username, click the button that says “sign-in.” Then, you’ll need to enter your password. For most students, their default password is their AIOU roll number. Once you’ve typed in your password, click the “sign-in” button again.
If you see a message saying “your account does not exist,” it means there might be a mistake in your username or password. Double-check them to make sure they’re correct. If you’re still having trouble, you might need to create an AIOU Aaghi LMS Account.
Once Logged In
Once you’re successfully logged in to your AIOU Aaghi LMS account, you can do several things:
Manage Assignments :
This means you can keep track of all your assignments in one place. You can see what assignments you have to do, when they’re due, and if you’ve already completed them.
Upload New Assignments :
If you have a new assignment that you need to submit, you can do it here. Just follow the instructions to upload your assignment file.
Edit Old Assignments :
Sometimes, you might need to make changes to an assignment that you’ve already submitted. You can do that here too.
See Assignment Status :
You can check the status of your assignments. For example, you can see if your teacher has graded them yet.
Access Courses :
Your courses are like your classes. Here, you can access all the materials you need for each of your courses. This includes things like lecture notes, reading materials, and videos.
See Assignment Results :
After your teacher has graded your assignments, you can see how you did. This is where you’ll find your grades and any feedback your teacher has given you.
Attend Workshops :

How to Create Account on AIOU LMS?
Creating an account on AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal is a bit different. Here’s how it works:
Who Can Create an Account ?
Not everyone can make an account on Aaghi LMS. Only students and tutors of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) can do this.
How Accounts are Created?
When you become a student at AIOU, the university itself makes an account for you on Aaghi LMS. They’ll generate a special ID for you, called an LMS ID. After that, they’ll send you your username and password through email and SMS to the phone number you provided when registering.
New Students:
So, if you’re a new student at AIOU, you won’t need to create your own account on Aaghi LMS. The university takes care of it for you. All you have to do is wait for them to send you your login details. Keep an eye on your email and phone for this message.
