  • 1 List of level packs

List of level packs [ ]

The game is divided into several level packs. As of December 2013, there are 8 packs, each consisting of 25 levels.

The story starts from an animated short showing a box with Om Nom getting to the Professor . He helps Om Nom pass a series of experiments, often commenting on his success or encouraging the player to try more.

  • Getting Started is mainly educational and reintroduces many gameplay elements from the original game .
  • Shooting the Candy is the first touch of different gameplay. It introduces rope guns , a type of rope that shoots the candy wherever it is. The length of the rope depends on the shooting distance and thus allows for totally new gaming experience.
  • Sticky Steps introduces suction cups . They attach ropes to the surface of the level and may be detached and reattached on a tap. It is the player who now chooses where his ropes start, which allows more freedom.
  • Rocket Science introduces rockets. As far as a rocket is activated by a candy, it carries the candy in a certain direction. Some rockets can be rotated before the launch, and multiple rockets in a screen often result in an elaborate chain of launches.
  • Bath Time is a pack of levels containing water, which changes the usual behavior of candy and other gameplay elements. While candy floats on the water, many puzzles require it to dive for some time.
  • Handy Candy introduces robotic arms. They can be rotated and bent with some buttons. They can hold candies and release them on a tap, but it's the player's duty to keep the candy safe.
  • Ant Hill utilizes a concept similar to Buzz Box : some ants carry the candy along a certain path. However, ants release the candy on a tap or when they reach the endpoint of the path.
  • Bamboo Chutes is the latest pack, and, as of December 2013, it is available only for Android. It uses chutes to turn the falling candy. The outcoming velocity of the candy is always the same, so the player is able to create infinite loops and regain speed easily.

The ending involves the professor showing Om Nom an invention that generates candy.

A similar concept to the original game's drawings , photos are hidden throughout the game. As of December 2013, the game has 10 photos.

Achievements [ ]

The game includes achievements system implemented with the help of Scoreloop service. As of May 2013, the game has 27 achievements.

Cut the Rope: Experiments is the only mainline game to not get an Om Nom Stories season.

If it did, it would have replaced Time Travel as the second season.

Cut The Rope Experiments

PAPER.IO 2

Om Nom might be a little green monster but it has the biggest sweet tooth ever! Help him eat his favorite candy in the next game in the amazing and wildly popular series, Cut the Rope Experiments. Get ready to cut the ropes, collect stars, and solve challenging puzzles through dozens of new and fresh levels.

Om Nom is waiting and it’s not the most patient little green monster! Similar to the other titles in the Cut the Rope series, as the player your objective is to cut the ropes that are binding the candy and let it fall into Om Nom’s mouth. In Cut the Rope Experiments, each level is filled with different puzzles and obstacles. Physics and mechanics are at play so you have to consider how gravity will affect the delicious candy before you take action. You will encounter different mechanics and tools on some levels. You may have to use a bubble to transport your candy from one place to another, and you should use an air blower to avoid touching spikes. If the candy leaves the screen, either by falling down or flying away in a bubble, you will lose the level. Once the candy is in the right position, just swipe through the ropes that are binding it and release the candy. Each level has a total of 3 stars that you can collect to unlock other levels. Try your best and collect every star on each level to earn high scores. You can see the total number of stars you’ve collected in the upper right corner of the level selection screen.

It looks like Om Nom is happy, for now. But we’re sure he’ll be craving more sugar soon, so why don’t you check out our website to play the other Cut the Rope games for free? You can play the other two popular titles, Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope 2 .

The 10 best Netflix games you can play right now

Netflix has plenty of games to choose from, but which actually rise to the top?

Hades trailer

If you somehow weren't already aware, Netflix subscribers actually have access to a whole bevy of different games. While these are largely available on mobile devices like phones or tablets with TV access in beta and limited to specific games, there's still over 80 of them  total to choose from. So, what are actually the best Netflix games?

Mobile Gaming Show

Welcome to Mobile Gaming Week 2024 , where we explore what's hot, what's best, and what's next in the world of mobile gaming ahead of the Mobile Gaming Showcase.

While there's a wide variety of genres from puzzles to sports to strategy games available to Netflix subscribers, sorting the wheat from the chaff is honestly fairly simple. The best Netflix games, at least at this point, are often ports of immensely popular games on other platforms. That or they're versions of classic mobile games that were immensely popular before being added to Netflix.

One important thing to remember before getting into what exactly the best Netflix games are is the simple fact that a lot of how much mileage you might get out of any of these games boils down to what, exactly, you're playing on. Are you playing on an older iPhone without a controller? Android tablet with a controller? Are you trying to play on a TV, which is considered a beta experience? The ranking below posits that, for the majority of folks in the majority of situations, these are the best Netflix games to play:

10. Dead Cells: Netflix Edition

Dead Cells

Frenetic 2D Metroidvania roguelite Dead Cells has a justly earned reputation as engrossing and there's nothing quite like traversing the game's sprawling castle as an immortal failed experiment. That said, Dead Cells in general benefits from precision controls, so consider this our strong suggestion to use a controller.

9. Cut the Rope Daily

Cut the Rope Daily key art

The premise of Cut the Rope is deceptively simple: you cut the rope, the candy goes into the critter's mouth, the critter is happy and you move on. But these puzzles get more complex and convoluted over time with added obstacles and other factors that ratchet up the difficulty. There's a reason Cut the Rope is considered a classic mobile game, and Cut the Rope Daily is basically that but with additional daily puzzles.

8. Oxenfree and Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals screenshot

While technically two different games, Oxenfree and Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals from Netflix's first-party developer Night School Studio really feel like more of a package deal. The supernatural thrillers make for fascinating and somewhat spooky adventures, and while you could technically play one without the other or out of order, you're absolutely going to get the most out of doing both and in release order.

7. Paper Trail

Paper Trail screenshot

As we have previously said, Paper Trail from developer Newfangled Games is a gorgeous world full of origami puzzles that feel good to solve. Players uncover a compelling narrative through folding sections of the environments in order to solve puzzles, which can get far trickier than it might sound. Unlike some titles, Paper Trail's gameplay translates perfectly to mobile touch controls.

6. World of Goo Remastered

World of Goo Remastered key art

Another classic brought into the limelight in the modern age, World of Goo Remastered is a physics-based puzzle game where you use balls of goo to build structures to solve puzzles. Simple, right? Guess again. While it might seem easy enough, the puzzles can be tricky in an exceptionally satisfying way.

5. Immortality

Immortality, the third game from Sam Barlow

What happened to Marissa Marcel? That's the beating heart of Immortality, which is an interactive trilogy of movies that players can move scene by scene through, match cutting their way to an answer. It's basically the perfect kind of game for Netflix – and anyone looking for a thrilling adventure.

4. Monument Valley

cut the rope experiments 8 25

Monument Valley from developer ustwo games is 10 years old, but it would be hard to know that from just playing it. The perspective-based optical illusion puzzles, which must be solved for the game's silent princess to progress on her journey, are just as captivating now as they were in 2014. With Monument Valley 3 set to release later this year through Netflix, there's never been a better time to try the original – or to return to it again.

3. Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure screenshot

I spent literal months obsessing over the movement-based tile puzzles in Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure ahead of release, and as it turns out those same puzzles work extremely well in a mobile environment. With charming art, dialogue, and mechanically satisfying puzzles, it's hard to go wrong with Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure.

Hades

The extremely popular roguelike from developer Supergiant Games sees Zagreus, son of Hades, trying to defy his father and escape the Underworld. If you've played it elsewhere, you know what's up, and if you've not yet had the pleasure, you're in for a treat that combines compelling narrative arcs with invigorating mechanical gameplay that will see you fighting and befriending various gods and demigods and the like while zooming around various battlefields mashing buttons until your fingers get sore.

1. Into the Breach

Into the Breach

Hades is likely the more popular game overall, but Sublight Games' Into the Breach makes for a strong transition to mobile. A Chess-like strategy game by way of time-hopping Starship Troopers, Into the Breach is all about using mechs, pilots, and their weapons to solve square map after square map of horrible creatures trying to slaughter humanity – and you're the only one standing in their way, across multiple timelines. Into the Breach is a captivating sci-fi experience that feels perfectly at home on mobile devices.
